About Vaigai College

With a vision of transforming the younger generation into socially responsible leaders, and to meet the mounting academic challenges globally, a team of industrial connoisseurs and academic experts have established Vaigai Educational Trust (VET) at Madurai. VET founded an institution under its tutelage in order to instil a quality technical education in students, particularly those who are socially and economically deprived, and to transform these individuals into truly global citizens with human values.Thus, Vaigai College of Engineering was created in the year 2012. The college is duly recognised by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

Our College is located on a sprawling campus spread over an area of 15 acres set in sylvan surroundings. The campus is located in an expedient location away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With its lush green lawns and serene ambience, it provides an appropriate environment for academic excellence.

The campus is divided into various well-designed zones like hostels, the main college building, administration block, canteen, incubation centre, and training and placement cell. In addition to lecture halls, tutorial rooms and drawing halls, the college has an excellent auditorium, a library, a computer centre, workshops, spacious play grounds and well-equipped laboratories. Fairly good hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls on campus.
